Intro

Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life!

Let's see...what to study first? Planets around other stars? When will we contact life on some of those planets? How will they react to what we show them of Earth and all of the creatures that roam its passionate terrain?

Or shall we plum the ocean depths, the mapped yet undiscovered country that covers the vast majority of our planet, forbidding us passage into its mysteries?

Of course, we could always wonder about the greatest of all perplexities, that element which continues to defy explanation--the people of this Second Thousand of countless millions of years...

To any and all who venture to this blog, I greet and salute you as hail fellows! (Of course, whether you retain that greeting is up to you)--but if you've something thought-filled, wise, or improving to the human condition, then a hearty cheers, and a tip of the diet Mountain Dew to you! (Yes, alas, I am diabetic.) But that isn't the worst of my problems. No, I fear that something far lower, far more cunning, grotesque, and deplorable lurks in this world of wonders, and it is the stupor of our human potential.
